Hygienic waxing specialists Australian Bodycarenhave reported an increase in demand for the 'Boomerang' in salons nationwide, so much that the Boomerang has overtaken the Brazilian as the most requested wax.

Annette Close, Australian Bodycare waxing specialist explains " We can only presume that this is a trend that has come from down-under. When it comes to intimate waxing, its important that women follow a hygienic waxing procedure. Using Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil based wax and aftercare is an excellent method of minimising the risk of infection and ensuring a hygienic wax."

Similar to the Brazilian, the Boomerang is a landing strip that veers off to one side, making it a quirky alternative to the traditional waxing favourite.

Whether the trend is here to stay, or whether it will be a passing trend not lasting past the first of April remains to be seen!
